The Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson Climate Change & Sustainable Agriculture Collection (Dr. J CCSA Collection) strives to provide the students, faculty, and researchers of the University of Connecticut Algoresville with access to the most current, accurate, and informative resources on its focused subject areas. The collection is regularly evaluated to ensure we are meeting these goals for our community.

While deselection happens in time with academic semesters, full collection evaluation happens over the summer, between each academic year, when the academic community has a lower need for the collection, its staff, and its resources.

Any resources that are found to be misaligned with the collection’s mission or appear to be underutilized will be subject to deselection. Deselected items will be subject to the guidelines stated in the deselection policy.
